Harlem native, James Arthur Baldwin (August 2, 1924 – December 1, 1987) was an American writer. He garnered acclaim for his work across several mediums, including essays, novels, plays, and poems. Baldwin's work fictionalizes fundamental personal questions and dilemmas amid complex social and psychological pressures. Themes of masculinity, sexuality, race, and class intertwine to create intricate narratives that run parallel with some of the major political movements toward social change in mid-twentieth century America, such as the civil rights movement and the gay liberation movement.

OMG 😱 it's an explosion of culture, history and scents in there. I could still smell the lovely scent in my jacket when I left... like 2 blocks down and it's welcoming aroma still lingered. Wow! They've got so much stuff in such a tiny place and it's all strategically & perfectly organized. It gave off all kinds of future customer vibes in my mind.
